Dieter Gass: Audi in F1 engine talks "good"

Audi is no longer ruling out a future in Formula 1. In past years, the VW brand has given a clearer 'No' to speculation it might launch a foray. But recently, Lamborghini chief Stefano Domenicali has been representing Volkswagen and Audi at F1 meetings about the post-2020 engine regulations.
However, Audi motor sport chief Dieter Gass told Kolner Express newspaper that the VW diesel scandal complicates the situation: "This is probably not the right moment," he admitted.
Nonetheless, Audi remains interested in the 2021 engine talks: "All current and potential manufacturers were invited by the FIA and it is good that we are there," said Gass. "Of course, Stefano knows the subject matter very well and keeps me informed of developments."

It is always good, its a sign that F1 is heading the right way. The more suppliers the better.

Time for regulations to be made by F1 not the FIA, nascar controls its own rules and F1 is being held back by the pyramid scam of the FIA!
every team should be running the williams designed flywheel kers and it can be bolted to any ice engine, get rid of the ultra tech and just run the mild hybrid with a number of different engine configurations like the old days, ford V8, honda V10, Renault V10, ferrari V12. put a max hp limit and a suitable weight limit.
F1's glory days were glorious because of its engine diversity.
i would also like to see every F1 team make a road car to create more income and stability to the teams, it doesn't have to be all exotics it car be fun roadsters and hatchbacks too.
