Lewis Hamilton won today at Monza, Italy. The british driver lead from start to finish and were a whopping 25 seconds ahead of second man Sebastian Vettel at the end. Kimi Räkkönen, starting from second place on the grid, had a difficult start and were passed by all but one car, and fought his way up to 5th place. The commotion that followed caused further problems in the first corners, where both Lotuses were involved in collisions and had to retire.
McLaren, too, had a rough race, as their Honda powered cars simply were too slow, and neither driver could defend against the Renault powered Red Bulls and Toro Rossos, and Fernando Alonso was forced to retire with technical difficulties on lap 47.
Nico Rosberg dropped down several places at the start, but looked set catch up to Vettel, but had to retire when his engine caught on fire. Mercedes' Toto Wolff was very secretive about the possible cause for this. Furthermore, neither of the two Mercedes works cars had tyre pressures meeting Pirelli's recommendations, and Mercedes is now under investigation for this, with the threat of disqualification from the race looming over them.
Williams performed very well today, with Felipe Massa ending 3rd and Valtteri Bottas ending 4th.
Sauber's Ericsson managed to translate his qualifying performance into race pace, and he managed to claim 9th place between the Red Bulls of Ricciardo and Kvyat in 8th respectively 10th.
Force India had a good race, despite Hulkenberg having to struggle with a lack of grip, and both cars ended in 6th and 7th. They are once again in front of Lotus in points in the battle for 5th place in the Constructor's championship.

Dammit, what a shame Kimi had such a bad start, with a good one he might have gotten in front of Hamilton and that could have been a totally different race. The tifosi would have gone mental ;)
Bad luck for Rosberg but the wheels had been set in motion long before when he had to switch back to an old engine.
