Chandon becomes sponsor of McLaren-Honda

McLaren Honda Formula 1 Team announces an exciting new partnership with Chandon, signed today. As one of the most successful teams in Formula 1 history, McLaren meets Chandon, the vibrant sparkling wine with a boundless conquering spirit. The partnership perfectly highlights Chandon’s open spirit, ‘joie de vivre’ and spontaneous approach to life. That'll compensate a little, but this is hardly a title sponsor, and as of currently McLaren is in dire need for one of those, especially since they wont get the usual sum of prize money and is not a historic team.

If I was Ron I would be putting big pressure on Honda to get them a Jap sponsor, since it's Honda which is causing this crisis, it's crazy Honda hasn't already done this with their unmatchable contacts in Japan. .......Toyota pulled in Panasonic, Denso and more so why can't Honda with the clout they have with suppliers... If I was Ron I'd be on the blower every day to Honda's CEO saying get us out of this hole, as you got us into it!!!!
