Wehrlein claims Montreal circuit suits him well

Pascal Wehrlein is looking forward to the Canadian Grand Prix weekend and will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing race in Monaco. The German's race ended sideways in the barriers at Monte Carlo, as he was tipped over by Jenson Button.

Wehrlein believes that the track suits him well - a mix between a street circuit and a racing track. He also highlighted the important factors, such as engine power. Sauber has less power than most in 2017, due to the cars running with year old Ferrari engines.

"I am looking forward to the Canadian Grand Prix very much. In Montreal, there will be many events this weekend to celebrate the Grand Prix. The track suits me well. It is a mixture of a street track and a racing track – a traditional race with a long history.

"Next to the engine power, a high braking stability, traction and good change of direction are the most important factors. The long straights offer good overtaking opportunities. Depending on the weather, the car’s aerodynamic configuration will also play an important role."
