GPToday.net announces Paolo Filisetti as technical editor

GPToday.net is pleased to announce that Paolo Filisetti has joined the team as a technical editor. After every race he will provide a report on the technical developments in Formula 1, accompanied by his own illustrations.

Paolo has worked in F1 since 1996 as a technical editor and illustrator. Currently, he works for La Gazzetta dello Sport, Italian Sportsdaily, and Autosprint, the most authoritative motorsport magazine in Italy. In the past, he worked for Formula1.com, Italian newspaper Corriere della Serra and Italian TV station RAI TV. He also was editor in chief of the Italian edition of F1 Racing magazine.

Paolo will join GPToday.net for the 2019 season as a technical editor and illustrator. He will provide an analysis of the upgrades that the teams brought to the respective races. Paolo did this for the first race of the season in Australia.

Filisetti is happy to share his technical analysis with the readers of GPToday.net: "I talked to Danny about this collaboration during winter testing in Barcelona and I very much liked his ideas, ambitions and the look of the new website. I’m looking forward to share my analyses of the technical updates with the readers of GPToday.net."

GPToday.net founder Danny Sosef is very happy to announce the deal with Filisetti. "After we announced that Dieter Rencken in February had joined our team, Paolo Filisetti is the next one who will join. Paolo has been a familiar face in the paddock for many years and is highly regarded for its exceptional technical drawings and professionalism.

"For several years we had been asked by our visitors whether we could provide more insight into the technology and developments of the Formula 1 cars. We have listened to that and this is the outcome. Every Grand Prix will see the drawings and explanation of Paolo on our site."
