Juncos has confirmed that it will run as a single entry for the 2019 Indianapolis 500.
The team is currently competing in the NTT IndyCar Series on a part-time basis, with Kyle Kaiser in the #32 car.
Kaiser is not confirmed for the Indy 500 this year, having made his debut in the race last year, starting 17th. However he failed to finish, dropping out on the 110th lap with a mechanical issue.
Kaiser is believed to be the main candidate for the seat at Indy, with team owner Ricardo Juncos stating that an announcement will soon come, confirming who will make up its entry.
“We’re going to be announcing this pretty soon, maybe in the next few weeks, but it’s going to be only one car," he said.
“Unfortunately, we little bit late to put all of it together. The reason why was the late IMSA program put us in a situation where we really challenged the whole team to get ready for Daytona.
“As you could also see at Long Beach, the team was much better now settled down and now we are back to more of normal path in the team, so because of that as well, we were not able to put the two cars in there .”
