Hispania Racing presenteert zich morgen in Murcia

Campos Meta 1 gaat officieel verder als Hispania Racing F1 Team. Dat maakte de Spaanse renstal vandaag bekend. Het team zal zich morgen in Murcia presenteren. Hispania Racing is vernoemd naar een van de bedrijven van teameigenaar Jose Ramon Cabarente.

Teambaas Colin Kolles: “De nieuwe naam betekent een nieuwe geboorte voor onze Formule 1-ambities en bewijst de ongelofelijke inzet achter de schermen om ons debuut in Bahrein mogelijk te maken. Wij zijn nieuw in de paddock en zullen trots zijn om naast legendarische namen als Ferrari, McLaren, Williams en Lotus te staan. We hopen in de komende jaren onze eigen reputatie op te bouwen.”

    ik denk wel dat dit team het nieuwe minardi is troosteloos achteraan ik dnek zelfs moeite hebben om de andere teams bij te houden doordat ze ene voorsprong hebben qua testen etc

    Het is duidelijk dat er ondanks de vele vele tegenslagen toch een hele groep mensen zit die kostte wat kost hun droom waar willen maken. Daarom geef ik ze nog steeds krediet. De tijd zal het ons leren.
