NEC sluit sponsorovereenkomst met Force India

Het team van Force India heeft een nieuwe partner gestrikt. NEC, voorheen sponsor van Sauber, heeft zich aan de Indiase renstal verbonden. Het ICT-bedrijf voorziet Force India van technologische oplossingen voor de fabriek. Het logo van NEC staat dit jaar op de motorkap van de VJM08.

Force India-baas Vijay Mallya: "Het is met veel plezier dat we onze samenwerking met NEC aankondigen. Wij delen hun passie voor innovatie en technologie, twee dingen die als een rode draad door de hele Formule 1 lopen. NEC is een globale speler met een rijke geschiedenis als het gaat om het ondersteunen van alle aspecten van een bedrijf en we verheugen ons op een vruchtbare samenwerking richting de toekomst."

    Dhr. Boekhoorn was bij NEC Nijmegen betrokken, is daar geloof ik mee opgehouden, maar goed, dat is dan ook wat anders dan NEC waarover het hier gaat.

    Sauber gaat denk ik in zee met NAC

      het gaat hier over de Japanse printer fabrikant NEC(dat een jaar eerder werd opgericht dan de Nijmeegse voetbalclub)
