McLaren staat stil bij verjaardag van naamgever

Het zou gisteren de verjaardag zijn geweest van Bruce McLaren, oprichter en naamgever van het team van McLaren, ware het niet dat hij in 1970 om het leven kwam bij een crash tijdens een test op Goodwood. De Nieuw-Zeelander werd slechts 32 jaar oud. Zijn naam leeft echter voort in de Formule 1 als naam van een van de meeste succesvolle teams. McLaren stond gisteren op deze manier stil bij de verjaardag van Bruce McLaren.
