Marco Apicella viert vandaag zijn 51ste verjaardag

Oud Formule 1-coureur Marco Apicella is vandaag jarig. De Italiaan heeft de leeftijd van 51 jaar bereikt. Apicella heeft één Grand Prix achter zijn naam staan. Zijn enige start was in 1993 in eigen land voor het team van Jordan. Zijn Formule 1-carrière duurde extreem kort, want hij viel al in de eerste bocht uit toen hij betrokken raakte bij een crash met meerdere auto's. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Apicella.

      Oh jawel hoor, wacht maar tot Philippe Adams, Volker Weidler of Claudio Langes jarig zijn.

      Geeft wel een aanleiding wat oude F1 wagens te showen, maar zag dan liever een "Historie" tabje of zo op de site.

      @Caramba, kom op zeg je gaat hier toch niet met droge ogen beweren dat je Mario Acapella niet kent mag ik hopen? Ik dacht dat hier allemaal F1 kenners kwamen....
      Vooruit dan ik zal het even kort uitleggen; dit was een coureur die slechts 1 F1 start maakte, voor het Jordan team in 1993, deze race wist hij bijna te winnen ware het niet dat hij uitviel in de eerste bocht....
      Ik heb hier weinig van meegekregen want ik was destijds de hond aan het uitlaten en miste zodoende de start...
