Red Bull verlangt progressie van Buemi en Alguersuari

Sebastien Buemi en Jaime Alguersuari zijn reeds bevestigd bij Scuderia Toro Rosso voor 2011, maar dat betekent niet dat ze op hun lauweren kunnen rusten. Wanneer ze zich niet blijven verbeteren zal Red Bull niet aarzelen om een andere jongeling uit het opleidingsprogramma door te schuiven.

Die waarschuwing uitte Red Bull-motorsportadviseur Helmut Marko op Laola1.net. “De coureurs moeten zichzelf wel bevestigen en blijven ontwikkelen. Acties zoals bijvoorbeeld met Alguersuari die crasht met Buemi worden niet op prijs gesteld. Op dit moment ziet het er nog goed voor ze uit, maar met Daniel Ricciardo en Jean-Eric Vergne hebben we twee snelle junioren achter de hand.”

      Is die eis niet meer dan normaal? Je eigen baas verlangt toch ook dat je je best doet en blijft groeien? Of mag jij de hele dag uit je neus vreten van je baas?
