Twee DRS-zones op Sepang voor Maleisië 2017

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de details bekend gemaakt voor het gebruik van het Drag Reduction System tijdens de Grand Prix van Maleisië van komend weekend. Het circuit van Sepang telt twee DRS-zones, met maar één detectiepunt.

Het enige meetpunt is tussen bochten 12 en 13 gesitueerd, 54 meter na bocht 12. De achtervleugel is vanaf 104 meter na bocht 14 plat te leggen is. De tweede DRS-zone begint bij de exit van bocht 15, 28 meter na bocht 15 om precies te zijn, en strekt zich uit over het rechte stuk van start en finish.

    Wat zal dat een opluchting geven met dat hete weer in Sepang al is het maar een beetje wind voor de achtervolgers.:)
