Video: Kevin Magnussen neemt emotioneel afscheid over teamradio

Haas F1-coureur Kevin Magnussen reed in Abu Dhabi zijn laatste Formule 1-race tot nu toe. De coureur neemt namelijk afscheid van de Formule 1, want zijn contract bij Haas wordt niet verlengd.

Tijdens zijn laatste race haalde hij bij de start al een paar coureurs in. Voorafgaand aan die actie, dus op weg naar de grid, kreeg de coureur een emotioneel bericht van zijn engineer:

    Ik ga deze gozer misschien toch wel een beetje missen. Niet de allerbeste coureur maar ook zeker niet slecht. Wel lekker rebels altijd en dat mag ik wel

      Van mij had hij mogen blijven. Was ooit supertalent, maakte indruk in zijn eerste race, maar kwam toen steeds meer 'aan lager wal'.
      Sinds zijn "Track is fine. Lets go!" (Vooral de manier waarom hij dat zei) vond ik hem geweldig.
