Nikita Mazepin tekent bij en zit tot 2023 bij Haas

Nikita Mazepin heeft zijn contract verlengd, zo bevestigt teambaas Guenther Steiner tegenover MotorSport-totaal. "Alles is getekend", vertelde hij in het voorprogramma van de Britse Grand Prix.

Het kon bijna niet anders of Mazepin zou ook volgend jaar rijden voor Haas, zijn vader is namelijk een grote geldschieter voor het team. Dmitri Mazepin, is sinds het 2021-seizoen een van de belangrijkste financiers van het team via het Russische chemiebedrijf Uralkali, waarin Masepin senior een aandeel heeft.

Schumacher ook bijna rond

Mick Schumacher zou ook in 2022 deel uit gaan maken van de line-up. Bij Schumacher moeten er nog een aantal dingen geregeld worden, zo zei de teambaas. "Er moeten nog een paar dingen worden geregeld, want het is een driepartijencontract omdat hij er ook een heeft bij Ferrari. Er moeten nog een paar puntjes op de i worden gezet", zo vertelde hij.

Hiermee zou Haas het eerste team zijn dat haar line-up voor 2022 bekend maakt.

    Dat ze mick houden snap ik maakt nog foutjes maar elke race word beter voor hem maar met mazepin is ik afwachten of hij weer een fout maakt maar alsik guenther was zou ik toch uit kijken maar iemand die anders dan mazepin
