Steiner neemt eenmalig plaats in commentaarcabine

Haas-teambaas Günther Steiner is in de afgelopen jaren uitgegroeid tot één van de populairste figuren uit de wereld van de Formule 1. De Italiaan dankt zijn populariteit aan de Netflix-serie 'Drive to Survive'. Steiner maakt dankbaar gebruik van zijn nieuwe status en neemt dan ook enkele aanbiedingen aan.

Steiners populariteit is in de Verenigde Staten ook flink toegenomen. Het land is voor de teambaas van Haas een bekende omgeving, zo ook het Circuit of the Americas in Austin. Aankomend weekend zal hij hier dan ook plaatsnemen in het commentaarhokje van Fox, hij zal commentaar gaan leveren op de NASCAR-races aldaar. Samen met Kurt Busch wordt hij voor één weekend toegevoegd aan het commentatorteam.

    Misschien een ideetje voor de F1, iedere race een ander teambaas van achter de muur halen in live tv-commentaar laten doen (wel zijn mobiel afpakken).
