MP Motorsport tekent exclusieve deal voor nieuw Indian F4 Championship

Het Nederlandse en zeer succesvolle team van MP Motorsport heeft een exclusieve deal met de FIA om F4-bolides te leveren voor het nieuwe Indian F4 Championship. De regerend kampioen van de Formule 2 drukt hiermee een steeds grotere stempel in de mondiale racerij voor eenzitters.

De Mygale F4-auto van de tweede generatie is sinds 2022 actief in de Franse F4-kampioenschap. De Indiaane variant wordt de tweede competitie met deze bolides en geprepareerd, net als bij veel andere Europese klasses, met een halo. In India is het meteen de eerste keer dat deze boog bovenop de cockpit voor hoofdbescherming wordt gebruikt.

De exclusieve deal komt volgens de teamchef van het Hollandse team niet uit de lucht vallen, "MP is geen onbekende in de Indiase autosport of Indiase coureurs", begint Sander Dorsman, teambaas bij MP. “Ons partnerschap in het Formula Regional Middle East Championship van dit jaar met Hyderabad Blackbirds bleek een succes te zijn, en we hebben onlangs samengewerkt met enkele van India's meest veelbelovende coureurs, zoals momenteel met Jehan Daruvala in FIA Formula 2.''

We zijn verheugd om deel uit te maken van deze reis om een kampioenschap van wereldklasse te leveren aan RPPL en hun partners en sponsors. RPPL is bekend van het organiseren van de Indian Racing League (IRL), evenals de Karting Super Series, Het doel van RPPL met de Indian F4 Championship is klaar als een klontje: India's landelijke zoektocht naar de volgende racester van het land.
