Pirelli kondigt compounds voor Bahrein, Spanje en Monaco aan

Bandenleverancier Pirelli heeft bekendgemaakt welke banden het meeneemt naar de Grands Prix van Bahrein, Spanje en Monaco. In Bahrein beschikken de teams en coureurs over de medium en de zachte band, in Spanje zit er met de harde en de zachte compounds een stap tussen, en in Monaco debuteert de superzachte band, naast de zachte compound.

Pirelli-motorsportbaas Paul Hembery: "Met onze nominaties voor de banden proberen we dit jaar meer het randje op te zoeken, zoals ook blijkt uit deze keuzes. Alleen de superzachte band is hetzelfde als vorig jaar, de rest uit het assortiment is zachter gemaakt om close racing te bevorderen en meer opties voor de strategieën te bieden."

    Voor Bahrein kiezen ze voor een kogelvrije band en voor een molotov werende band.
