GU Racing reserveert enige auto in Euroseries voor Ellis

Philip Ellis debuteert komend seizoen in de Formule 3 Euroseries. De 19-jarige Brit heeft een akkoord bereikt met GU Racing. Met het team van Gunther Unterreitmeier won hij vorig jaar de titel in de Formule Lista. Ellis bemant in 2012 de enige auto van GU Racing.

“Ik ben werkelijk verguld met de kans om aan de meest competitieve Formule 3-tak ter wereld deel te nemen”, begint Ellis. “Ik volg de Formule 3 al sinds ik een kleine jongen was via de televisie en droomde dan dat ik er ooit zelf zou staan. Nu komt die droom uit.”

    Even iets anders, wat enigszins met dit onderwerp te maken heeft: als je zelf van racen houdt, is Live For Speed misschien een leuk spel. Deze Philip Ellis is daar trouwens ook regelmatig te vinden, net als Nicky Catsburg, Valtteri Bottas, Kevin Korjus en wat minder bekende coureurs als Dennis Lind. Best leuk om ook daar is tegen hun te racen!
