Lotus GP strikt Brits Formule 3-kampioen Jack Harvey

Jack Harvey is komend seizoen te bewonderen in de GP3 Series. De Brits Formule 3-kampioen heeft zich verzekerd van een stoeltje bij Lotus GP. De 19-jarige Engelsman won in 2012 zeven races en vertrok negen maal van pole position.

Harvey: "De relatie met Lotus GP is fantastisch en ik ben trots op de mogelijkheid om met dit team de GP3 te betreden. Ik volg graag in de voetstappen van een andere rijder die steun van de Racing Steps Foundation ontvangt, namelijk GP2-coureur James Calado. Hij eindigde in 2010 als runner-up in de GP3."

"We hebben veel geleerd tijdens de tests en de banden beter begrijpen is belangrijk. Ik verheug me op de uitdaging van de GP3, zeker bij een team met een mooie historie als Lotus GP. Als ik het goed aanpak, dan kan ik de autosportladder verder beklimmen zoals mijn voorgangers bij dit team gelukt is. Het doel is om voor het kampioenschap te gaan."
