Van der Garde in Bahrein terug bij ESM

Giedo van der Garde keert voor de seizoensfinale van het World Endurance Championship terug op de WEC-grid. Net als in Japan zal hij in Bahrein racen voor Extreme Speed Motorsport. In China nam Tom Blomqvist zijn plek nog in.

Blomqvist is in het weekend van 19 november echter verhinderd, waardoor Van der Garde weer is opgeroepen door ESM. Ook Antonio Giovinazzi heeft andere verplichtingen voor de race in Bahrein. De Italiaan wordt vervangen door Formule V8-kampioen Tom Dillmann. De derde rijder is Sean Gelael.
