Honda zet vierde auto in voor WTCC-races Japan

Het WTCC-team van Honda heeft bekend gemaakt een vierde auto in te zullen zetten tijdens het WTCC-weekend in Japan. De vierde auto wordt bestuurd door Ryo Michigami, uitkomend in de Japanse Super GT. 

Michigami rijdt al sinds 1998 voor Honda en testte de WTCC Honda afgelopen week in Barcelona. Voor Michigami betekent de race in Japan een race op bekend terrein. Het WTCC strijkt namelijk neer op de Twin Ring Motegi en dat circuit is eigendom van Honda. Het is niet de eerste keer dat een fabrikant een auto inschrijft voor een lokale coureur. In Argentinië zal Esteban Guerrieri een Chevrolet van Campos Racing besturen.
