Team Italië wil Valentino Rossi inzetten

MotoGP-coureur Valentino Rossi maakt deze winter mogelijk zijn racedebuut op vier wielen. Het A1 Grand Prix-team van Italië wil de motorcoureur vastleggen voor komend seizoen. Rossi is echter niet voor een heel seizoen beschikbaar vanwege zijn testverplichtingen met Yamaha.

Piercarlo Ghinzani, seatholder van Team Italië, doet geen moeite om zijn interesse in Rossi te verhullen. Ik ben een vriend van Valentino en we hebben gepraat over een stoeltje in mijn team. A1 Grand Prix-baas Tony Teixeira ziet de komst van de ster op twee wielen ook wel zitten. We kijken naar Rossi en ik denk dat hij het goed zou doen in onze serie.
