Bod ADAC op de Nürburgring geweigerd

Automobielclub ADAC is niet langer in de race om de Nürburgring over te nemen. De Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club had een bod uitgebracht om het circuit in de Duitse Eifel te kopen, maar dat bod is geweigerd.

ADAC-baas Peter Meyer bevestigde in Bild: "Dat klopt. We hebben geen toestemming gekregen voor de volgende stap in het biedproces. Ons is alleen mede gedeeld dat ze ons bod te laag vonden."

Speed Week bericht dat het bod van ADAC alleen het circuit zelf betrof, niet het pretpark en de daaraan verbonden commerciële ruimte. De automobielclub was bereid een bedrag van tientallen miljoenen voor de Nürburgring neer te tellen.
