Vettel en Webber doneren helmen voor Wings for Life

Red Bull Racing-coureurs Sebastian Vettel en Mark Webber hebben een aantal helmen beschikbaar gesteld voor een veiling waarvan de opbrengst voor het goede doel Wings for Life is bestemd. Vettel doneerde de helm waarmee hij in Duitsland dit jaar voor het eerst zijn thuisrace won. Webber gaf twee helmen, die van België 2013 en die van Italië 2013.

Webber stelde ook een gesigneerde overal beschikbaar. De veiling vindt op 9 december plaats. Vettel, tevens ambassadeur voor Wings for Life: "Dit is een van mijn favoriete helmdesigns van afgelopen seizoen en vanzelfsprekend een heel speciale helm voor mij. Ik droeg die helm tijdens mijn eerste winst in eigen land. Die Grand Prix betekende veel voor mij, maar dat doet Wings for Life ook en ik sta met plezier deze gedragen helm, voorzien van handtekening, af aan deze veiling voor het goede doel. Ik hoop dat mijn helm veel geld oplevert voor onderzoek naar ziektes in het ruggenmerg en de wervelkolom."
