Boullier ontkracht geruchten over afscheid bij Lotus

Eric Boullier weerspreekt de verhalen dat hij zijn taken als teambaas bij Lotus neerlegt. De Fransman ontkrachtte de geruchten op zijn Twitter-pagina. "Ik heb nooit aanbiedingen van andere teams ontvangen en ik heb geen ontslag genomen."

Bianca Garloff van Sport Bild wakkerde het vuurtje aan. Zij zou van een bron bij Renault gehoord hebben dat Boullier de chaos bij Lotus zat is en daar niet meer verantwoordelijk voor wil zijn. Anthony Rowlinson van F1 Racing ving van iemand anders op dat Force India een oogje op Boullier had laten vallen.
