Bottas staat te popelen om van ervaren Massa te leren

Williams-coureur Valtteri Bottas kan niet wachten om aan volgend jaar te beginnen. De Fin is opgewonden door het vooruitzicht om met Felipe Massa samen te werken. Hij verwacht veel op te kunnen steken van de Braziliaan die jarenlang voor Ferrari uitkwam.

Bottas: "Het is moeilijk te zeggen wat ik precies van Felipe kan leren, maar je kan van elke collega dingen oppikken. Of het nou iets over de rijstijl of over de afstelling is. Massa heeft veel meegemaakt, hij heeft lang voor Ferrari gereden en wellicht doen ze het daar toch wat anders dan hier bij Williams. Ik sta klaar om alle mogelijke informatie op te zuigen als een spons."

"Ik ben er vrij zeker van dat ik alle voorbereidingstests bij zal wonen, of ik zelf moet rijden of niet. Ik ga erheen om te luisteren. Aan het begin van het jaar is het belangrijk om overal bij aanwezig te zijn, om te kijken of er problemen zijn met de auto, wat het rijgedrag is en hoe we kwesties op kunnen lossen. Het wordt interessant om daar onderdeel van uit te maken en te leren."
