'McLaren onthult nieuwe oranje MP4-29 op 25 januari'

Het team van McLaren presenteert de nieuwe bolide op 25 januari 2014, zo meldt Omnicorse. En aan de nieuwe MP4-29 is iets speciaals. De Britse renstal spuit de wagen volgens Omnicorse in de kleur oranje, de traditionele kleur van het door Bruce McLaren opgerichte team.

McLaren raakt titelsponsor Vodafone kwijt en heeft nog geen opvolger bekend gemaakt. De renstal uit Woking bewaart dat nieuws tot aan de presentatie. McLaren heeft de overige teams op de hoogte gebracht van de intentie om op 25 januari de nieuwe auto te onthullen zodat ze daar rekening mee kunnen houden bij de planning van hun eigen presentatie.
