Russische Grand Prix start om 15.00 uur lokale tijd

De eerste Grand Prix van Rusland, op het semi-stratencircuit door het Olympische park in Sotsji, vangt op 12 oktober om 15.00 uur lokale tijd aan, zo heeft de organisatie bepaald. Door het tijdverschil betekent dat een start om 13.00 uur Nederlandse tijd.

De organisatie van de Russische Formule 1-race denkt dat ze daarmee een perfect compromis gevonden hebben. In Sotsji blijft het in die periode lang genoeg licht om de wedstrijd te voltooien terwijl het tijdstip ook voor West-Europa prettig is, stel promotor Oleg Zabara.
