Giedo van der Garde in de kleuren van Sauber

Giedo van der Garde is komend seizoen de reserverijder van het team van Sauber, achter racecoureurs Adrian Sutil en Esteban Gutiérrez. Vandaag werd de nieuwe bolide van het team uit Hinwill gepresenteerd en ook de eerste foto van Van der Garde in de kleuren van Sauber was op internet terug te vinden. Op de overalls van het team van Sauber prijkt niet het logo van sponsor McGregor, zoals dat bij het team van Caterham vorig jaar wel het geval was.

    Iedereen denkt dat hij daar zit omdat hij er veel voor betaald heeft. Maar op de kleding als ook op de website van Sauber is geen één van de persoonlijke sponsoren ook als partner in wat voor zin dan ook getoond/genoemd.

    Wellicht dat hier de oorzaak in zijn besluit ligt? De sponsoren betalen zijn salaris, reis en verblijfskosten en ze betalen de testdagen die hij mag rijden. Maar verder lijken ze in geen enkele wijze een bijdrage te leveren aan het team. Dat is inderdaad beter dan 8 tot 12 miljoen ophoesten om te mogen rijden. (Voor de sponsoren althans)

      Kwestie van tijd dat de logo's van Giedo op de wagen en zijn pak verschijnen.. er is miljoenen neergelegd voor deze deal.

      Dan zou Sutil ook niks betalen, zijn sponsors staan ook niet op de auto

      maar ik verwacht echt Medion en Capri Sun daar binnenkort te zien

    Allemaal leuk en aardig... Maar ik kan me iemand herinneren van vorig jaar... Die "teste" ook voor sauber....... Is ook niks geworden (tenminste bij sauber) en ik denk dat al zegt Giedo van niet.... het een slechte keuze is geweest en maybe einde van zijn carriere in f1. Terwijl hij het niet slecht heeft gedaan.

    Giedo moet uitblinken bij iedere test die hij doet, en zijn management moet retegoed z'n best doen om vroeg mee te draaien in onderhandelingen voor volgend jaar. Het is te hopen dat Gutièrez door de mand valt halverwege dit seizoen, of Sutil een keertje voedselvergiftiging krijgt..(of misschien een glas in zijn nek -_-)
