Caterham stelt launch nieuwe CT05 uit

Het team van Caterham zou vanmorgen in de pitstraat van Jerez haar nieuwe bolide onthullen, maar de nieuwe CT05 heeft te kampen met technische problemen. Het team uit Leafield hoopt de nieuwe auto dinsdag wel over het circuit van Jerez te kunnen sturen. Op de Twitter-pagina van Caterham geeft het team uitleg: "De beproevingen van een geheel nieuwe auto werken ons vandaag tegen, maar we werken voluit."

Vandaag staat Marcus Ericsson ingeroosterd om zijn debuut te maken voor het team van Caterham. Als alles naar wens verloopt zit de Zweed ook morgen achter het stuur. Testrijder Robin Frijns mag donderdag zijn geluk beproeven in de groene bolide, waarna Kamui Kobayasi de testweek afsluit voor het team van Caterham.
