McLaren beperkt zich vandaag tot installatierondes

Het team van McLaren werkt vandaag geen uitgebreid programma af in Jerez. De Britse renstal is deze ochtend nog niet op de baan verschenen en dat gaat voor de lunchpauze ook niet meer gebeuren. McLaren beperkt zich tot wat installatierondes in de middag.

Dat liet een woordvoerder van het team aan Crash.net weten. De McLaren MP4-29 slaagde vorige week pas voor de verplichte crashtests en werd afgelopen vrijdag gepresenteerd. De bolide is blijkbaar nog niet gereed voor een uitgebreide en productieve testdag.

Het is ondertussen ook nog wachten op Red Bull Racing. De regerend wereldkampioen vond bij het in elkaar zetten van de RB10 een klein probleem, een 'silly problem' zoals ze zelf zeggen. Red Bull Racing denkt het testprogramma ook pas na de lunch te kunnen aanvangen.
