Force India adopteert GP2-renstal Hilmer Motorsport

Force India heeft Hilmer Motorsport geadopteerd voor de GP2. Het Duitse team rijdt voortaan in de kleuren van Indiase renstal. Hilmer maakte gelijk maar de line-up voor 2014 bekend. Daniel Abt is aangetrokken van ART en hij krijgt gezelschap van Facu Regalia, vice-kampioen in de GP3.

Force India-teambaas Vijay Mallya: "Als team leggen we de nadruk op de opleiding van jonge coureurs, dus het doet me deugd deze samenwerking met een GP2-team aan te kondigen. Het is een logische stap aangezien de volgende generatie talenten zich aandient en wij ze via Hilmer een platform kunnen bieden om zich te bewijzen. Onze aanwezigheid in de GP2 is een volgende stap in het creëren van een eigen ladder die rijders van de karting tot aan de Formule 1 kunnen beklimmen."
