Volgepakte tribunes bij eerste Grand Prix in Valencia

De kaartverkoop voor de Grand Prix van Europa ging gisteren van start en de tickets vlogen over de toonbank. Na de eerste dag zijn er nog maar zon 8.000 kaarten over van de ruim 112.000 beschikbare kaarten. De race op het stratencircuit van Valencia zal zich dus voor volgepakte tribunes afspelen.

De verwachting is dat de resterende toegangsbewijzen voor het einde van volgende week verkocht zijn. Jorge Martinez Aspar van organisator Valmor Sports: We zijn zeer tevreden en ook ietwat verbaasd over de geweldige publieke belangstelling op de eerste dag van de kaartverkoop.

Bijna veertig procent van de tot nu toe verkochte kaarten zijn aangeschaft door fans van buiten Spanje. De allereerste Grand Prix in Valencia wordt op 24 augustus verreden.
