Ferrari rekent op intens gevecht in Barcelona

Het team van Ferrari rekent er niet op dat het de Grand Prix van Spanje makkelijk zal gaan winnen. De afgelopen twee races was de Italiaanse renstal redelijk dominant, maar teambaas Stefano Domenicali waarschuwt voor het gevaar van BMW Sauber en McLaren. We kunnen een intens gevecht voor de overwinning verwachten.

Daarom moeten we net als in de voorgaande races elke sessie in opperste concentratie afwerken, vervolgt de Italiaan. Onze rivalen zitten niet stil. We hebben echter alle reden om optimistisch te zijn na twee opeenvolgende zeges. De testsessie van vorige week verliep goed en we hopen dat we het momentum kunnen doortrekken in Barcelona.

Ferrari leidt met Kimi Raikkonen het coureurskampioenschap. Bij de teams ligt de renstal uit Maranello nog één puntje achter op BMW Sauber.
