Robert Kubica haalt Bandini-prijs op in stijl

Aanstaande zondag is het zover: de uitreiking van de Bandini-trofee in Brisighella, het geboortedorp van Lorenzo Bandini. F1Today berichtte een tijdje geleden al dat het dit jaar Robert Kubica is die de prijs in ontvangst mag nemen.

BMW Sauber heeft in een verklaring laten weten dat Kubica de elf kilometer van Faenza naar Brisighella geheel in stijl zal afleggen: in een BMW Formule 1-bolide. Kubica over de uitverkiezing: "Het is een grote eer voor me dat ik de prijs dit jaar mag ontvangen, maar het komt ook als een verrassing, gezien mijn enigszins teleurstellende seizoen in 2007."

Zondag zal tevens een prijs uitgereikt worden aan BMW-adviseur en voormalig teambaas Peter Sauber.
