Heidfeld rekent op sterk BMW Sauber in Monaco

BMW Sauber-coureur Nick Heidfeld sluit zich aan bij de overheersende verwachting dat zijn team komend weekend in Monaco goed voor de dag zal komen. Het nauwe stratencircuit in het prinsdom is bij uitstek een circuit voor de F1.08, zo is de gedachte.

Heidfeld: Theoretisch gezien is de kans dat onze auto het in Monaco goed gaat doen vrij groot. Het circuit moet perfect bij onze auto passen en ik hou zelf ook van deze baan. Heidfeld staat momenteel vijfde in het kampioenschap.

Teamgenoot Robert Kubica ziet ook kansen voor BMW Sauber in Monaco. Al voor het seizoen werd mij gevraagd waar ik dacht dat wij de meeste kans zouden maken op een mooi resultaat en toen antwoordde ik al met Monaco.
