Midland F1 wil Gary Anderson aantrekken

Het Midland F1 team begint snel vorm te krijgen. Hoewel de motoren en coureurs nog niet duidelijk zijn is al wel de teambaas en chassis-ontwikkelaar bekend. Trevor Carlin van Carlin Motorsport wordt de teambaas, Dallara zal in Italië het chassis gaan ontwikkelen en bouwen.

Midland F1 heeft uiteraard ook een technisch directeur nodig, daarbij denkt men aan Gary Anderson, voormalig ontwerper en technisch directeur van onder andere Jaguar en Jordan. Anderson staat bekend om zijn vele ervaring die hij met zich mee brengt en heeft een goed gevoel voor nieuwe technieken.

De overeenkomst voor een technisch directeur zou dit jaar nog bekend gemaakt gaan worden als de plannen van Midland F1 uitpakken zoals men in de planning heeft staan. De motoren moeten rond februari 2005 bekend zijn en de coureurs iets later. Over de banden gaan speculaties dat men een voorkeur heeft voor het Franse rubber van Michelin.
