Lauda ziet overlevingskansen voor Mosley

Oud Formule 1-coureur Niki Lauda denkt dat Max Mosley de stemming over zijn functioneren op 3 juni kan overleven. Mosley ligt als voorzitter van de internationale autosportbond FIA zwaar onder vuur vanwege zijn betrokkenheid bij een seksschandaal. Lauda: Als Bill Clinton een dergelijk schandaal kan overleven, dan kan Mosley dat ook, makkelijk zelfs.

Drievoudig wereldkampioen Lauda staat ook achter het besluit van Mosley om zich bij de Grand Prix van Monaco in de paddock te laten zien. Hij is de voorzitter van de FIA, dus ik snap alle kritiek niet zo goed. Hij moest wel komen. Ik had in zijn positie precies hetzelfde gedaan.
