Vettel doet niet mee aan kwalificatie in Canada

Scuderia Toro Rosso-coureur Sebastien Vettel zal niet deelnemen aan de kwalificatie voor de Grand Prix van Canada, te Montréal.

De jonge Duitser beschadigde zijn bolide in de derde vrije training dusdanig, dat hij niet kan deelnemen aan de gehele kwalificatiesessie. In bocht negen knalde de coureur zijn STR3-bolide in de muur.

Vettel zal hierdoor morgen achteraan starten. De Duitser pakte de vorige race in Monaco de eerste punten van het seizoen, de jongeling reed een goede race twee weken geleden.

Ook met teamgenoot Bourdais ging het niet goed in de derde vrije training, ook de Fransman beschadigde zijn bolide.
