Speciale Batman-livery voor Toyota op Silverstone

Het team van Toyota rijdt komend weekend bij de Grand Prix van Groot-Brittannië met een speciale livery. De Japanse renstal is een samenwerking aangegaan met Warner Bros. Pictures en promoot op Silverstone de nieuwe Batman-film, The Dark Knight.

Een artwork van de film is te zien op de TF108, de overalls van coureurs Timo Glock en Jarno Trulli en in het motorhome van het team. De Batmobiel zal op donderdagavond de baan op gaan en zal de rest van het weekend samen met de Bat-Pod te zien zijn.

Verbanden tussen Hollywood en de Formule 1 zijn niet nieuw. Red Bull Racing werkte de afgelopen jaren mee aan de promotie van enkele grote filmproducties, zoals Superman en Star Wars. Zodoende belandde David Coulthard in 2006 met een Superman-cape op het podium.
