Verstappen heeft zin in demonstratie op Zandvoort

Jos Verstappen heeft veel zin in de demonstratie die hij volgende week zal geven tijdens het DTM-weekend in Zandvoort. De Limburger zal de Porsche RS Spyder van Van Merksteijn Motorsport in actie komen. Drie weken geleden won hij hiermee nog de 24 uur van Le Mans in de LMP2-klasse, samen met zijn teamgenoten Jeroen Bleekemolen en Peter van Merksteijn.

Het is de eerste keer zijn dat de paars-witte Porsche van Van Merksteijn in Nederland te zien en te horen zal zijn. Verstappen: "In Le Mans en tijdens de LMS-races en met name in Spa, hebben we ontzettend veel steun gehad van de Nederlandse fans. Nu kan ik een keer iets leuks terug doen door tijdens het DTM-weekend op het circuit van Zandvoort de Porsche RS Spyder te besturen. Het wordt ongetwijfeld een geweldig spektakel."

De volgende Le Mans Series-wedstrijd staat voor 17 augustus gepland op de Nürburgring.
