Boetes op Silverstone

Afgelopen weekend zijn er wederom diverse boetes uitgedeeld aan verschillende coureurs. Vier coureurs spekken de FIA-spaarpot omdat ze te hard door de pitstraat gereden hebben.

De hoogste boete van het weekend ging dit keer naar Ferrari-coureur Kimi Raikkonen. Hij reed zaterdag 72,1 km/u door de pitstraat terwijl daar maximaal 60 km/u is toegestaan. Een boete van 2600 euro was het gevolg.

Andere coureurs die op de bon werden geslingerd zijn Toyotas Timo Glock (69 km/u, waarvoor 1800 euro boete), Honda-coureur Jenson Button (63,5 km/u, 800 euro) en David Coulthard van Red Bull Racing (61,7 km/u, 400 euro).
