Hockenheim dag 3: Massa sluit testweek af als snelste

Felipe Massa heeft vandaag de testweek in Hockenheim afgesloten met de snelste tijd. Op de Hockenheimring was de Braziliaanse Ferrari-coureur nipt sneller dan Honda's Jenson Button. Ook Sebastian Vettel zit er opnieuw goed bij met de vijfde tijd.

Felipe Massa nam vandaag op de laatste testdag het stuur over van Kimi Raikkonen, maar wist nipt een snellere tijd te rijden dan de verrassing van de dag: Jenson Button in de Honda. Massa: "We hebben goed werk verzet. We konden veel kilometers maken en de auto voelt goed aan. Dat zou kunnen betekenen dat we competitief zullen zijn volgende week, maar dat geld natuurlijk ook voor onze concurrenten."

Er vielen drie rode vlag-situaties te noteren. Nakajima kende technische problemen in de ochtend, Fernando Alonso en Giancarlo Fisichella waren de veroorzakers in de middag. De Force India-coureur crasht in de Sachskurve en beschadigt zijn auto flink. Fisichella: "Het is frustrerend dat we niet meer kilometers konden maken. In de ochtend hield een mechanisch probleem me een tijdje aan de kant en 's middags had ik een crash. Ik verloor de achterkant van de auto in het stadion en raakte de muur. De monteurs hebben echter hun best gedaan, zodat ik laat in de middag nog even de baan op kon."

Naaat het kilometers maken kregen de teams rond de lunchpauze ook nog de kans racestarts te oefenen op het rechte stuk. De Grand Prix van Duitsland wordt over een ruime week verreden op de Hockenheimring.

Dus:Ik verwacht wel een sterk mclaren in Duitsland.

  Ja verwacht hun ook sterk. We zullen zien hoe het gaat lopen. EN ik oop dat ferrari het niet verpest als het niet gaat zoals hun willen

Dat ligt er helemaal aan of het een droog / nat circuit is ...

Vooralsnog heeft men voor zondag regen voorspelt: dus dan geven we McLaren inderdaad een goede kans?! ;o)
