Renault met Doornbos en Yamamoto naar Rotterdam

Het team van Renault verzorgt zondag 17 augustus met Robert Doornbos en Sakon Yamamoto demonstraties in de straten van Rotterdam tijdens de vierde editie van Rotterdam Racing. De naam van Doornbos was al langer bekend, voormalig Spyker-coureur Yamamoto is daar nu aan toegevoegd. De organisatie zal binnenkort nog meer namen bekend maken die gaan schitteren tijdens het racespektakel.

Robert Heilbron namens de organisatie van het evenement: Het programma voor 2008 gaat ieders verwachting overtreffen. Met de komst van Sakon en een tweede Formule 1-wagen naar de Rotterdamse Maasstad belooft het wederom een enorm spektakel te worden. Doornbos verkende gisteren alvast het parcours waarop hij op 17 augustus het publiek in extase wil brengen. De Nederlander komt ook in actie bij ING RaceSalon in Ahoy Rotterdam.

Het tweede team dat zich in het weekend van 17 augustus in Rotterdam zal laten zien is Force India. F1Today.nl wist in februari al exclusief te melden dat de Indiase renstal samen met Renault aan Bavaria City Racing in de havenstad gaat deelnemen. Welke coureurs de donuts en burn-outs voor Force India gaan uitvoeren is nog niet bekend.
