Berger bestuurt deze week Scuderia Toro Rosso-auto

Gerhard Berger neemt deze week plaats achter het stuur van een moderne Formule 1-auto. De oud Formule 1-coureur bestuurt de Scuderia Toro Rosso-auto voor een demonstratie van Red Bull in Boedapest deze week. Berger is mede-eigenaar van Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Hij heeft zijn stoeltje al laten schuimen. Het wordt de eerste keer dat ik een moderne Formule 1-auto de sporen mag geven en dan betreft het ook nog een bolide van mijn eigen team. Ik wil gewoon weten hoe het rijden in een Formule 1-auto tegenwoordig aanvoelt, aldus Berger tegenover sportnet. Een keertje testen zit er dus niet meer in. Die dagen liggen al ver achter me.
