Raikkonen verliest auto van 200.000 euro uit het oog

Hij heeft er nog nooit in gereden en zag de auto slechts één keer, maar Kimi Raikkonen weet nu al niet meer hoe het zit met zijn twee maanden geleden aangeschafte Corvette. Bij een veilig voor het goede doel in Monaco kocht de Ferrari-coureur de Chevrolet Corvette Stingray uit 1974 die in het verleden aan Sharon Stone toebehoorde.

Sindsdien heeft hij niets meer over zijn aankoop gehoord. Raikkonen vertelt in Auto Motor und Sport: Ik heb hem nog niet. Ik weet eerlijk gezegd niet eens waar de auto is. Ik heb ook geen flauw idee of het de bedoeling is dat ik hem ophaal, of dat ze de auto opsturen. De Fin verdient echter genoeg om zich daar niet druk over te maken. Ik heb de auto niet gekocht omdat ik hem heel graag wilde, maar omdat het voor een goed doel was, aldus Raikkonen.
