Bourdais krijgt straf wegens ophouden Heidfeld

Scuderia Toro Rosso-coureur Sebastien Bourdais heeft een straf gekregen voor het ophouden van Nick Heidfeld tijdens de kwalificatie. De BMW Sauber-coureur zat in zijn snelle ronde toen Bourdais hem in de laatste bocht ophield, zo vond Heidfeld.

Heidfeld tekende protest aan waarna de wedstrijdleiding een straf van vijf plaatsen terug op de startgrid aan Bourdais hebben gegeven. De Fransman zal nu vanaf de negentiende startplaats vertrekken.
