Heidfeld voelt zich gesteund door BMW Sauber

Na de Grand Prix van Duitsland dacht Nick Heidfeld dat zijn kwalificatieproblemen achter de rug waren, maar in Hongarije kwam de BMW Sauber-rijder niet eens door het eerste kwalificatiedeel. In de race klom hij dankzij een één-stop strategie op naar de tiende plaats, maar dat is ook niet om over naar huis te schrijven.

BMW Sauber heeft nog altijd het vertrouwen in Heidfeld. Dat gevoel overheerst althans bij de Duitser. We gingen voor één stop, waardoor mijn auto tot de nok toe vol zat met brandstof en ik ook nog eens heel lang op dezelfde banden moest rijden. Ik kon het tempo van de autos voor me op de Hungaroring gewoon niet volgen. We moeten analyseren waar de problemen vandaan komen. Ik weet dat het team ook na afgelopen weekend nog achter me staat.
