Speed kijkt tevreden terug op Formule 1-loopbaan

Scott Speed reed maar 28 Grands Prix en scoorde daarin geen punt, maar toch kijkt de Amerikaan tevreden terug op zijn periode in de koningsklasse van de autosport. Speed jaagt nu een loopbaan in de NASCAR na.

“Formule 1 is altijd mijn droom geweest en staat veel hoger op mijn lijst dan NASCAR”, vertelt de 25-jarige Amerikaan in USA Today. “Ik heb bereikt wat ik wilde bereiken. Ook al heb ik niet gescoord in de Formule 1 ben ik duizend procent tevreden.”

“Het was een geweldige leerschool. Ik heb nooit op een universiteit gezeten, maar mijn kennis is gedurende mijn periode in Europa enorm toegenomen. Nu kom ik terug met levenservaring. In de NASCAR-serie gaat veel geld om, maar iedereen blijft hier wel simpel.”

    JA DUHU het zijn Amerikanen die zijn allemaal simpel... verschrikkelijk volk!

    Wel fijn dat hij tevreden is ondanks dat ie niet gepresteerd heeft!
