Indiase coureurs nog niet in trek bij Force India

Vijah Mallya beloofde toen hij aan zijn project Force India begon dat hij in 2009 een Indiase coureur in een van zijn autos wilde hebben. Dat wordt echter steeds onwaarschijnlijker. Hij liet eerder al weten tevreden te zijn over zijn huidige duo Adrian Sutil en Giancarlo Fisichella en dat tweetal vormt volgend jaar waarschijnlijk ook de line-up.

De Indiase kanshebbers heten Karun Chandhok en Narain Karthikeyan. Laatstgenoemde weet niets over eventuele mogelijkheden bij Force India. In India is een Formule 1-team oprichten geen alledaagse prestatie. Vijah Mallya heeft geweldig werk verricht. En alleen hij kan de vraag beantwoorden of Indiase rijders kans maken op een plek in zijn team, zegt Karthikeyan in Newsindpress.
